Upaya Peningkatan Kualitas Pendidikan Anak di Bidang Agama Berbasis Hukum Islam di Desa Tanjung Tambak Kecamtan Tanjung Batu

Abstract

This paper discusses efforts to improve the quality of religious education based on Islamic law in Tanjung Tambak Village, Tanjung Batu Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir, as a form of community service by students from Raden Fatah State Islamic University of Palembang. The efforts aim to develop the quality of children's religious education through teaching methods based on dakwah (preaching). The primary goal of this activity is to enhance the children's understanding of Islamic law more effectively. In practice, most of the teaching methods used by teachers in schools tend to be monotonous and boring, leading to a decline in student motivation to learn. This, in turn, impacts the quality of the teaching. Therefore, an alternative approach in teaching Islamic Religious Education is needed to create a more enjoyable and recreational atmosphere, thereby motivating students to become more engaged in learning and to develop their creative potential. The use of dakwah in teaching is expected to have a positive impact on improving the quality of Islamic religious education in the village, as well as strengthening students' understanding of Islamic values in everyday life.
