Pemberdayaan Guru Melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Website Sekolah sebagai Upaya Transformasi Digital Pendidikan

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) has significantly transformed various sectors, including education. However, many schools in non-urban areas still face obstacles in adopting digital platforms due to limited technical knowledge and low digital literacy among educators. This community service activity was conducted at SMP Negeri 8 Sekayu to empower teachers and educational staff through a hands-on training program in designing and managing a school website. Unlike commonly used CMS platforms, this training adopted a manual approach using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to ensure a foundational understanding of website development. The results showed an increase in participants' technical skills, confidence in using digital tools, and the successful creation of an official school website. Furthermore, a dedicated internal management team was formed to maintain and update the website regularly. This initiative not only supports digital transformation in education but also strengthens public access to school information. The outcomes of this program suggest that even with limited infrastructure, digital empowerment is possible through practical, need-based training models.
