Abstract

Environmental preservation in the Seruni Beach area, located in Jlubang Village, Pringkuku Subdistrict, Pacitan Regency, is essential for maintaining the area's natural beauty and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for tourism. As a popular destination, keeping the beach pristine ensures that it remains attractive to visitors while protecting local ecosystems. This community service program aims to improve local understanding of the importance of preserving the environment surrounding Seruni Beach. The approach includes observation, lectures, interactive discussions, practical activities, and reflective exercises to engage residents in the process. The results of the program include: (1) an increased awareness among the community about the importance of environmental preservation; (2) providing a platform for locals to actively engage in conservation efforts; (3) encouraging collaboration between local residents and academics for sustained environmental protection; and (4) establishing the idea that preserving the environment around Seruni Beach is a shared responsibility.
