In the era of advanced technology, various conveniences have been offered to entrepreneurs for marketing their products to a wider audience. Traditional marketing methods, such as brochures or door-to-door promotions, are no longer seen as effective for reaching consumers across Indonesia or even abroad. E-commerce, an online-based marketing model, has emerged as a solution. This digital platform allows sellers and businesses to reach a larger, more effective, and efficient market, while significantly reducing operational costs. One of the key metrics used to assess business performance is Break Even Point (BEP), which determines the point where a business's revenue equals its costs, helping entrepreneurs understand whether their venture is profitable. As Indonesia prepares for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), the need for young entrepreneurs has grown, and e-commerce is seen as an essential tool for this growth. This article discusses the importance of online marketing and BEP calculations for high school students majoring in marketing. It also highlights the positive effects of e-commerce on business growth and the role of BEP in guiding entrepreneurs towards profitability.
