Abstract

The digital revolution offers rural communities new opportunities to enhance income and expand access to information. Tanjung Laut Village, located in South Sumatra, has the potential to utilize e-commerce platforms to promote local products such as songket and blacksmith crafts, along with cultural and natural tourism. This study aims to increase community income and strengthen local information systems through the development and implementation of an e-commerce website. Methods include education, training, and mentoring to equip the community with skills to manage the platform independently. Results show improved digital literacy and significant progress in marketing local products and promoting tourism. This demonstrates the critical role of digital technology in driving rural economic growth and sustainable development.
