Sosialisasi Pencegahan Dini dan Resiko Akibat Stunting di Posyandu Desa Sungai Buaya Kecamatan Pemulutan Kabupaten Ogan Ilr Sumatera Selatan

Stunting is a chronic health issue that affects the growth and development of children in Indonesia. The outreach activity on early prevention and risks of stunting at the Posyandu in Sungai Buaya Village, Pemulutan District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, aimed to raise public awareness and knowledge about the importance of early stunting prevention. The methods used included lectures, discussions, and Q&A sessions with participants, consisting of pregnant women and mothers with toddlers. The outreach materials covered an introduction to stunting, its contributing factors, long-term impacts, and preventive measures through healthy eating habits, proper healthcare, and good sanitation practices. Evaluation of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of stunting and the importance of prevention efforts. It is hoped that this activity can contribute to reducing the prevalence of stunting in the area and improving the quality of life for children in Sungai Buaya Village.
